Re: knumbing and pain under breastFrom: shelly (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 6 May 2003 10:32:19 -0500 (CDT)
Donna, Have you ever heard of costochondritis? This is an inflammation of the rib cage and I have suffered from this for 3 years. The pain you are describing is similar to what I had. The area that was affected was right under my left breast and around to my back and spine. My entire back was burning and it was hard to even sit in a chair. The pain would go right thru my chest. My doctor also thought I had some form of shingles. I could not wear a bra because the elastic or wire would kill me under the breast. Its a horrible pain but when I started with a chiropractor and getting my spine in alignment the pain was relieved. I now have to be careful and when I strain lifting something I can feel the pain starting again. I am one of the lucky ones who finds relief with a chiropractor. Try searching Costo on you search engine and read the different symptoms it can cause. Good Luck.
