If you have friends or family (well-known and responsible), don't be afraid to ask for help--often. You need more sleep to get some normalization back. I'm not saying that sleep is all that is needed, but it is a good start. Try to remember to eat well and often. I know this is hard because you spend the whole time feeding and changing the baby. It is easy to forget yourself. Nap when your baby naps. (A super clean house will wait.) See your doctor. Many times our hormones are out of balance postpartum. Even if you have never had thyroid problems before, which could be part of the problem, you can have it after having a baby. Also there are many non-habit forming, low dose medications that you should talk to your doctor about. Even if just for a short term, it can do wonders. If you don't help yourself, you can't help your child. It is really important to be sure you are healthy. I wish you the best. It does get better after the third to fourth month.
